On Wednesday, Rumble launched its long-awaited Rumble Wallet. The development of this wallet was carried out in close cooperation with Tether, an important technological and financial partner, which is known to issue USDT. This feature, built right into the Rumble app, allows viewers to send money to the authors directly and without the possibility of cancellation.

The main feature of the update is that users now have their own crypto wallet, which they fully control. It allows you to send donations to your favorite authors almost instantly. You can use different cryptocurrencies for payment: Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT) stablecoin, and even XAUT, a gold-backed token.

The implementation of the solution is based on the Tether Wallet Development Kit (WDK), a set of tools for creating non–custodial wallets, and this launch marks its first full-fledged commercial application. The most important point is the way money is stored: only the end user has private keys and full control over their funds, which eliminates the possibility of blocking or asset management by Rumble or other organizations.

Transactions for converting ordinary money into cryptocurrency will be provided by a partner, MoonPay, widely known for its integration with various crypto applications. According to Chris Pavlovsky, founder and CEO of Rumble, this step is fully consistent with the ideology of the platform, which supports freedom of information, and is consistent with the basic principles of decentralized finance.

Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, also noted that the product is designed to create a more censorship-proof and independent digital environment for millions of users around the world.
