The British financial regulator FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) issued an official warning regarding the Retardio memcoin and its NFT project on the Solana blockchain. According to the FCA, Retardio provides financial services and promotions without an appropriate license, which exposes users to significant risks.

The regulator noted that users interacting with this project will not be able to benefit from protection from the Financial Ombudsman Service or Financial Services Compensation Scheme. In case of bankruptcy of the platform, a refund will not be possible.

The Retardio project, known for its NFT collection and memcoin with a capitalization of about $87 million, responded to the FCA statement in an ironic way, stating a "warning" to the regulator itself.
