The Phantom crypto wallet team has officially denied rumors about issuing its own token and conducting an airdrop. In a statement released on January 3, the company emphasized that it is currently focused on ecosystem development and the introduction of new features, and the release of tokens is not included in current plans.
Rumors about a possible airdrop began to spread in the crypto community after the recent update of the platform. However, Phantom representatives urged users to be careful and not fall for fraudulent schemes that could exploit this rumor.
Phantom continues to actively develop: recently, the wallet announced support for the Sui blockchain, which expands the list of networks to include Solana, Ethereum and Bitcoin. Sui integration is planned for early 2025.
