A federal court in Washington has sentenced Heather Morgan, known as "Razzlekhan," to 18 months in prison for her involvement in laundering stolen Bitfinex funds. This case is related to the largest hacking of the exchange in 2016, when 119,754 BTC were stolen, the value of which at the time of publication is more than $ 10.8 billion.
Morgan and her husband Ilya Lichtenstein pleaded guilty to money laundering, as well as conspiracy to defraud. Liechtenstein, who was also accused of hacking, received a five-year prison sentence. The prosecutor's office noted his cooperation in other investigations as a mitigating factor.
