The US Department of Justice announced steps taken to restrict the operation of an online platform that was engaged in crypto transactions. In particular, the domain name tickmilleas. com, which supported a resource called Tai Chang, also known as Casino Kosai, was blocked.

It turned out that this resource was used for fraudulent schemes to illegally appropriate the digital assets of American citizens. The attackers lured people with fake investment opportunities related to the turnover of virtual currencies.

The development and closure of this platform was handled by a special anti-fraud group at the District of Columbia Prosecutor's Office. An important point was the cooperation and assistance from the law enforcement agencies of Burma, which allowed us to obtain valuable information about local peculiarities.

The investigation, which was supervised by the FBI, allowed us to collect and study data detailing the structure and principles of Tai Chang's work. The investigation concluded that the platform was operated by a criminal group using a similar name.

In accordance with the official requirements of the American authorities, Google and Apple have removed the application of this platform from their app stores, the Play Market and the App Store. At the same time, the largest social networks identified and blocked more than two thousand accounts and groups that were used to advertise and attract new users.
